The ingredients needed to cook Almond Kheer:

  1. You need 20 of seeds of almonds soaked overnight.
  2. Take 1/2 litre of milk.
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup of sugar.
  4. Provide 1 TSP of Cardamom nutneg powder.
  5. Get 2 TSP of desi ghee.
  6. Use 8_10 of Saffron threads.
  7. Prepare 4 of seeds of almonds finely chopped for garnishing.
  8. Take of Dryfruit pieces as you like.

Instructions to make Almond Kheer:

  1. First heat the milk when stats boiling add saffron threads and let it boil on slow flame.
  2. Now peel off the soaked almonds and clean them.
  3. Now make paste of almonds by adding some milk.
  4. Now heat desi ghee add almond paste,saute for 2 minutes on slow flame,add the boiled milk,sugar, cardamom nutmeg powder mix well let it cook on slow flame, continuous stirring till it thickens.
  5. Kheer is ready,add dry fruit pieces of your choice mix well,serve hot with mava stuffed paratha with chopped almonds on top.
